Loved this post. I have to say that when I think of the sacrifices we make now, the picture you paint in the future seems really cool. Actually, I think the only things that I really would want are : 1) For my boys to grow up to be well adjusted successful men with their own families 2) A beautiful garden ( I get kind of embarassed when I share this with people, not a really big one, just a really nice garden with flowers and plants, someplace that makes me feel really peaceful -- This is an ongoing thing in my life 3) That house that you mentioned, my wife and I have the land picked out, we figure we'll be able to move and build it in about 5-10 years.
