@Clair Schwan-It amazes me how often people forget what business is all about. It isn't about filling your wallet. It isn't about marketing your cool new gizmo. It's about finding a customer, getting to know them, identify their needs, and filling that need better than anyone else!

Very well said, and it bears repeating because as business people, we often forget that "it's all about our customers" and not about us.

I am reminded of the slogan on the side of the concrete truck: "Find a Need and Fill It!"

Yogi Berra once said: "It's amazing the things you can see, just by looking." The same advice goes for the entrepreneur. New and better products and services are created by listening to our customers and meeting their needs.

Essentially, the job of any product or service provider is to make your customer's life better and easier. His/her interests must become your own in order to succeed.
